Happy Easter!!!

I love Easter..it is such a special time of the year & honors the most important & selfless act in the history of the world. The Atonement. I'm so grateful for our elder brother, Jesus Christ & His love for us. As the trees blossom & the flowers bloom, I'm reminded of the renewal we have thru the Atonement....thank you for all of it!!

Wow, what a gorgeous weekend in the 'burg!! It has been simply beautiful! And to make it even better, have thoroughly enjoyed watching GC. All the messages have been so timely & heartfelt. Just the right amount of counsel mixed with love....

A New Year is Coming......

Up until now, I have chosen to focus on "external" areas of my life to "get organized." It seems as I have peeled back the layers of chaos in my world, the inner turmoil of life has emerged. Be it my physical wellbeing or my psyche, I think it's time I cleaned house.....on the "inside!!"

So, as 2010 starts.....look for a new effort towards eliminating the procrastionation of changing oneself.....

Ok, was totally side tracked by the computer & totally mindless activities so I did not get much done the last couple of days.

I got "low censused" for 12 hours of work on 3/26, so I should make good use of my time.

Time off? Shouldn't the very thought make you think of lounging around & doing nothing? Well, apparently I have that understanding as evidenced by my home.

Soooo...I think it is best for me to plan my days off vs. setting goals for a week at a time. Perhaps I will try this way, maybe it will work, maybe not, all I know is that I have reverted to "slacker mode."

Here's my plans for the following days:

Haircut DONE
Call plumber for appt. next week DONE

Saturday:
Purge Closest (that's enough for one day!) HALF WAY THERE!!

Monday:
Purge drawers NOT DONE, MOVE FORWARD

Pantry NOT DONE, MOVE FORWARD
Laundry DONE

Wednesday:
Slept, scored some great coupon deals, VT, Highlighted my hair, mtg. w/ Bishop

I have been running like a chicken with my head cut off. But I'm thankful for a great Sabbath which has re-newed by spirit & desires to be better....at many things. I do think the key is organization to accomplish all & every goal. So with that...here's this weeks list:

  • Tax Appt. Found a Free offer for taxes, no appt necessary!

I'm in a Good Place

I finally feel, after almost 7 months of struggling, that I'm in a "good place." Meaning, my home is organized & I can feel the peace from having accomplished this mission. It is an ongoing process, ever changing & growing. But daily efforts have proved to be the key to my sucess. Since I have accomplished "organization" on the outside, I am more inclined to be organized on the inside or at the very minimun attempt to become internally organized. Time is always the long, hard road which I'm up against. But 2009 is for me & myself....here's to a great year!

Today was very productive, I was able to accomplish everything on my list!! Here are some new goals for the week...

All efforts have come to a screeching halt! The drywall behind my washer is soaking wet & we can't find the leak!! And the plumber is out of town! Ughh!

1. Purge & sort closest.
2. Scrub grill & outside furniture (pre-winter).
3. Shed-another purge & sort.
4. Costco run. DONE

I wanted to get in a ride to see the leaves which are changing but I have to work & Saturday it's going to rain...boohooo....

Well there are only a few days for me to be productive, then I hit that huge wall of a wave called work....so here goes....

3. Take clothes to consignment shop.
4. Pick a habit to be changed & DO IT! WORKING ON IT!
